CNN reports that Steve Fossett has made history as the first person to fly solo non-stop around the world, landing in Salina, Kansas after 66 hours of flight. The trip is all the more remarkable considering that Fossett almost had to abandon the flight after noticing a shortfall of about 2,600 pounds of fuel right after takeoff. Congratulations!
