For the past 70 years, as long as the Washington Redskins have been the Redskins, their final home game before the presidential election has correctly predicted the winning party. If the skins won, the incumbent has consistently been re-elected. If they lost, the challenger has always moved into the White House. Coincidence? I think not. Then again, this is the year that the Red Sox finally broke the curse, so anything is possible.
