A lot of people have been linking to this page showing what digital photo retouching can do for a swimsuit model. I found the rest of Greg Apodaca’s Digital Portfolio at least as compelling, showing just how much you can do in PhotoShop and other similar applications.
Of course, it also makes you wonder how “real” some of the images you see are, which is probably why you see so many pages discussing the ethics of digital manipulation. I’m of the mind that manipulation or alteration of a photograph should be disclosed. However, where you cross over from being called an unmanipulated photograph to a digitally altered image is a bit murky…
