Amazing obituary of a World War II (among other things) hero.  He gives The Most Interesting Man In The World a run for his money; read the whole thing, as this small taste doesn’t do him justice:

Count Robert de La Rochefoucauld, who has died aged 88, escaped from Occupied France to join the Special Operations Executive (SOE); parachuted back on sabotage missions, he twice faced execution, only to escape on both occasions, once dressed as a Nazi guard.

This Fortune article sheds some light on many details of the “Fast and Furious” scandal that I hadn’t heard before.  Go figure that during an election year something like this gets politicized and distorted… ;-p
