Follow-up: NASA’s hypersonic scramjet-powered X-43A aircraft broke another speed record yesterday, reaching Mach 9.8 at 110,000 feet (7,000 mph). As I mentioned in my previous post, this demonstration further showcases the revolutionary propulsion technology of the scramjet, paving the way for future hypersonic aircraft designs.
