Rumors of a movie based on The Simpsons have been floating for years, but this article lends some credence to them, revealing that during the recent Vancouver Film Festival “executive producer Al Jean…told a room full of people that the principal cast of the show had all signed on for no less than three motion pictures.” IMNSHO what they need to do is rehire Conan O’Brien as one of the writers to help ensure that the movies don’t totally suck. I will definitely be first in line to see the movie, but I’ve seen too many mediocre to crappy Simpsons episodes to put up with two hours worth of filler, so I hope they can come up with something good.

In other Simpsons news, they are apparently scheduled to appear on Inside The Actor’s Studio on November 18th. Now that could be fun, if only to see how James Lipton can kiss Homer’s ass.
