Henry Rollins is hilarious.

I quickly became bored with the repetitive video of Dooku.net (Count Dooku from the first Star Wars Trilogy flying around on his speeder) until I realized that you could choose from 12 different “soundtracks.” You’re The Best rocks! 😉

The second annual Art of Science Competition sponsored by Princeton University once again has some very cool images displayed in its gallery.

As The Comics Reporter reports, “Alex Toth, one of the handful of people who could seriously enter into Greatest Comic Book Artist of All-Time discussions and a giant of 20th Century cartoon design, has passed away at age 77.” His official web site is a great place to visit to learn more about him and his art, which began in the ‘50s and has been an influence ever since. Toth is probably best known as “the maverick comic artist who designed classic Hanna Barbera adventure cartoons such as The Superfriends and Space Ghost,” but that is only scratching the surface. He will definitely be missed…

The Miami Herald reports that:

Miami-Dade County and the FAA negotiated for years over how to replace Opa-locka Airport’s control tower. Now controllers are working in a trailer while a new tower is built.

For the next three years, Opa-locka Airport’s control tower will be a trailer perched atop cargo containers welded together. Controllers must climb a ladder to get inside. And the tower is only 33 feet off the ground, meaning controllers can’t see the entire airfield.

I think the best quote of all is: “This is not a tower that meets any code whatsoever.”

Stephen Colbert’s 2006 Commencement Address at Knox College (apparently his alma mater) was pretty damn funny.

On the lighter side of things, the town of Hell, Michigan is actually celebrating today, and Hollywood took advantage by premiering the remake of The Omen.
