Star Wars: Uncut is the brainchild of a self-described “Technologistioner,” Casey Pugh. He broke up Episode IV into 473 separate, 15-second segments from the opening battle over Tatooine to the celebration on Yavin IV. Any fan can choose one section and reshoot it in the style of their choosing. Once all the segments are complete and submitted, the film will be knitted back together in all its disjointed, online glory.
Apparently, the film is now complete; screenings of the entire film in its craptacular glory are to occur very soon. The above teaser video gives you an idea of what to expect…
