Solomons Island Bridge Moonset 3 [Flickr] Posted: 16 Mar 2009 07:41 PM PDT driko posted a photo: I’ve been trying to get a shot of a full moon setting behind the Solomons Island Bridge for years. Over the last couple of years, I’ve actually been keeping track of the “windows of opportunity” when the full moon is setting just before dawn in the right location. However, it seems like when I’ve actually been prepared with proper equipment, then it’s a cloudy day :-(. In any case, this time around I was prepared, I had plenty of time to set up, and I just could not get the shot right. The moon did not illuminate the bridge nearly enough, so I could not expose both the moon and the bridge properly. I still managed some longer exposures with a nice streak effect, but I didn’t quite get the shot that I wanted… 🙁
