I already made a post about weird Japanese ice cream flavors, but these Japanese pizzas are just disgusting-looking. What a waste of good pizza!

After all of those years not knowing what to call the"@“ symbol, France has stepped up to allay our confusion and offically dubbed it the "arobase” after “an ancient Spanish measure that used the same symbol of the letter ‘a’ surrounded by a circle.” I don’t know about you, but boy, will I sleep easier now.

I read this story the other day, and I guess I should have posted it then. However, the Metafilter summary I read this morning really cracked me up, spurring me on to post: “Attention D.C. residents- remain going about your business and please ignore the continuous explosions coming from Dick Cheney’s house.” WTF is going on here?

Google Labs has two new things to play with! Google Viewer plays a slide show of results from your search at a configurable delay, and Google WebQuotes “annotates the results of your Google search with comments from other websites.” Neither of these is a killer app IMHO, but the Google Viewer is a neat way to get a snapshot of several sites from your search results quickly.
