I came upon a pretty cool story at <i>LA Weekly<\/i> that goes into the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laweekly.com\/ink\/04\/37\/features-finke.php\" target=\"_blank\">history of the site<\/a>, which apparently started as a personal movie database way before the WWW even existed.
