{"id":15280,"date":"2003-01-10T12:39:00","date_gmt":"2003-01-10T12:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.driko.org\/blog\/2003\/01\/10\/the-surreal-life\/"},"modified":"2003-01-10T12:39:00","modified_gmt":"2003-01-10T12:39:00","slug":"the-surreal-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.driko.org\/blog\/2003\/01\/10\/the-surreal-life\/","title":{"rendered":"The Surreal Life"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Because we haven&rsquo;t had enough reality TV, here&rsquo;s another crappy show.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nypost.com\/entertainment\/28160.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><i>The Surreal Life<\/i> is a new show on the WB<\/a> that stars <a href=\"http:\/\/us.imdb.com\/Name?Feldman,+Corey\" target=\"_blank\">Corey Feldman<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.allmusic.com\/cg\/x.dll?p=amg&amp;sql=B46\" target=\"_blank\">MC Hammer<\/a> (now a preacher?), <a href=\"http:\/\/us.imdb.com\/Name?Lewis,+Emmanuel\" target=\"_blank\">Emmanuel Lewis<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/us.imdb.com\/Name?Roderick,+Brande\" target=\"_blank\">Brande Roderick<\/a> (from <i>Baywatch Hawaii<\/i>, apparently), <a href=\"http:\/\/us.imdb.com\/Name?Carteris,+Gabrielle\" target=\"_blank\">Gabrielle Carteris<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.allmusic.com\/cg\/amg.dll?p=amg&amp;sql=Brqf4zfgheh2k\" target=\"_blank\">Vince Neil<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/us.imdb.com\/Name?Manthey,+Jerri\" target=\"_blank\">Jerri Manthey<\/a> (<i>Survivor II<\/i>) as housemates.  Hell, I guess it can&rsquo;t be any worse than the <i>Anna Nicole Smith Show<\/i>, but that really isn&rsquo;t saying a whole lot.  The only thing going for this show that I can see is &ldquo;the train-wreck appeal of &lsquo;E!
