The Police is my favorite group, so I take particular pleasure in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rockhall.com\/hof\/currinductees.asp\" target=\"_blank\">this year&rsquo;s class<\/a>, although they are in great company.  I totally forgot that they hadn&rsquo;t played together in 18 years, but I guess that was for &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t Stand So Close To Me &lsquo;86.&rdquo;  Man, I feel old.  Anyway, I&rsquo;m glad to see The Clash and Elvis Costello recognized, and of course AC\/DC just rocks.  I was so happy that the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.3rd-world.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">cover band<\/a> we hired for our wedding reception played our request, &ldquo;You Shook Me All Night Long!&rdquo;  I&rsquo;m looking forward to VH1&rsquo;s broadcast of the ceremony this Sunday at 9 P.M&hellip;<\/p>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/tracker\/3501955-90522444?l=www.driko.org%2Findex_blogger.html\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CNN reports on this year&rsquo;s Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame induction held last night.
