A recent interview with producer Mike Reiss fleshes out those rumors slightly, alluding to a <a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/news?tmpl=story&amp;u=\/eo\/20040211\/en_movies_eo\/13483\" target=\"_blank\">possible movie release around Christmas 2006<\/a>.  Fox Studios is in support of the movie, although that&rsquo;s not surprising, as they&rsquo;ve obviously been trying to get a <i>Simpsons<\/i> movie into the theaters for over ten years now.
