{"id":13785,"date":"2004-12-15T14:45:00","date_gmt":"2004-12-15T14:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.driko.org\/blog\/2004\/12\/15\/rss-feeds\/"},"modified":"2004-12-15T14:45:00","modified_gmt":"2004-12-15T14:45:00","slug":"rss-feeds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.driko.org\/blog\/2004\/12\/15\/rss-feeds\/","title":{"rendered":"RSS Feeds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>The Media Drop<\/i> has a comprehensive <a href=\"http:\/\/www.themediadrop.com\/archives\/001581.php\" target=\"_blank\">list of newspapers with RSS feeds<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloglines.com\/sub\/http:\/\/www.driko.org\/index.xml\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"right\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Bloglines Subscribe\" src=\"http:\/\/www.driko.org\/icons\/sub_modern5.gif\" \/><\/a>Speaking of RSS feeds, I know that a while back <a href=\"http:\/\/www.driko.org\/2003\/12\/rss-part-ii.html\" target=\"_blank\">I recommended Awasu for reading RSS feeds<\/a>, and I still think it&rsquo;s one of the best stand-alone RSS readers.  However, I&rsquo;ve recently become a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloglines.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bloglines<\/a> convert.  Bloglines is a web-based RSS reader that is extremely easy to use, and because it&rsquo;s web-based it automatically synchronizes home and work feeds (one of Awasu&rsquo;s best features).  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloglines.com\/help\/firefox\" target=\"_blank\">Built-in Firefox support<\/a> in the form of a <a href=\"http:\/\/bloglines.com\/about\/notifier#moz\" target=\"_blank\">Bloglines notifier extension<\/a> and a means to easily <a href=\"http:\/\/www.heygom.com\/extensions\/\" target=\"_blank\">add feeds via LiveLine<\/a> make this a no-brainer in my book.  You may have noticed the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloglines.com\/sub\/http:\/\/www.driko.org\/index.xml\" target=\"_blank\">Bloglines subscription button<\/a> I added in the sidebar of the blog; this allows you to easily add my site to Bloglines if you&rsquo;re so inclined.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/tracker\/3501955-110312194599381731?l=www.driko.org%2Findex_blogger.html\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Media Drop has a comprehensive list of newspapers with RSS feeds.
