The downloads forum has sections devoted to: individual 3D models like Stonehenge and the Golden Gate Bridge, for example; sightseeing locations; weather and traffic overlays; a newly-created section on current events; and more. Very cool…<\/p>\n

I also found another fun hack at Lifehacker<\/i> that allows you to display the 50 closest Flickr photos near a place you\u2019re viewing using Google Earth<\/a>:<\/p>\n

  1. In Google Earth, right-click on the \u201cMy Places\u201d icon in Places.<\/li>\n
  2. Select \u201cNew\u201d and \u201cNetwork Link\u201d<\/li>\n
  3. Enter a title (i.e. Flickr) and for the Location enter http:\/\/www.geobloggers.com\/makeXML.cfm<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. IMPORTANT: Change the View-Based Refresh to \u201cAfter Camera Stops\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/blockquote>\n
