{"id":13273,"date":"2005-08-17T23:18:00","date_gmt":"2005-08-17T23:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.driko.org\/blog\/2005\/08\/17\/dick-of-the-day-5\/"},"modified":"2005-08-17T23:18:00","modified_gmt":"2005-08-17T23:18:00","slug":"dick-of-the-day-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.driko.org\/blog\/2005\/08\/17\/dick-of-the-day-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Dick Of The Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>No matter how you feel about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2005\/POLITICS\/08\/15\/mother.bush.tm\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Cindy Sheehan camping out at W&rsquo;s Crawford Ranch to protest the war<\/a>, I think that everyone can agree that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2005\/POLITICS\/08\/17\/crawford.protest\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">actions of Larry Northern are despicable<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Sheehan said she doesn&rsquo;t want to press charges against a pickup driver who early Tuesday allegedly ran over a makeshift memorial for the more than 1,800 Americans killed in Iraq. Police said he drove a pickup over 500 crosses and 40 American flags.<\/p>\n<p>Court papers identified him as Larry Northern, 59, from nearby Waco.<\/p>\n<p>He has been charged with a felony criminal mischief count. Damage to the memorial was estimated at more than $1,500.
