I have to say that it was one of the best final episodes of any TV series that I can remember (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tv.com\/m-a-s-h\/show\/119\/summary.html\" target=\"_blank\"><i>M*A*S*H<\/i><\/a> is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tv.com\/mash\/goodbye-farewell-and-amen\/episode\/43453\/summary.html\" target=\"_blank\"><i>the<\/i> best<\/a> as far as I&rsquo;m concerned).  <\/p>\n<p>HBO has a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hbo.com\/sixfeetunder\/obituary\/episode63.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">page devoted to the final episode<\/a> in which obituaries are written for all of the major characters, a touching addition that fleshes out the last moments of the episode.<\/p>\n<p>I saved reading a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stevenberlinjohnson.com\/movabletype\/archives\/000277.html\" target=\"_blank\">post by Steven Johnston<\/a> until I had seen the episode, and I definitely agree with one of his statements:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I had a genuine feeling last night watching the finale that I was going to miss these people, which I can honestly say I&rsquo;ve never had with a television show before.
